One Direction Now Hold Six Impressive Guinness World Records

Boyband One Direction may be going on a break next year, but they will still be featured in the 2016 Guinness World Records book for their incredible achievements. 

The record keepers announced details of the 'Drag Me Down' heartthrobs' six honors this week and they range from social media accomplishments to sales figures. 

One Direction have become the first group to debut at No. 1 with their first four albums in the USA (Up All Night, Take Me Home, Midnight Memories, and Four), they're the first UK group to debut at No. 1 in USA with their debut album, and they scored the highest debut by a UK group on the US singles chart at No. 3 with 'Live While We’re Young'. 

The other three world records they now hold include having the most popular dance game track for their 'What Makes You Beautiful' routine on Just Dance 4, which garnered 36,817,975 views, the lads have the most followers on Twitter for a music group at 23,393,106, and they also have the most subscribers for a band on YouTube with 36,817,975 views.
