Ed Sheeran thinks Harry Styles is "lucky" to be sharing such a close bond with Taylor Swift as she's so "loving".

Styles and Swift have sparked rumours they are an official item after spending so much time with each other over the past weeks.

The pair have been spotted kissing and walking hand-in-hand together - although neither party has confirmed or denied the budding romance.

Swift and Styles' pal Sheeran has gushed about the pair's relationship though, after a J-14 reporter asked about them at the recent Z100 Jingle Ball at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

He said: "He's lucky to be with Taylor. She's a very warm, loving person. And she kind of spreads that around to her fans and family and friends. I think if a guy pinned her down, they'd be happy."

Styles' One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson was seemingly caught off-guard when he spoke out about the alleged relationship, adding: "I don't know if they're talking about what has happened between them. I'm happy that they're good friends... She's a lovely girl."

Meanwhile, Styles and Swift have been spotted vacationing at the picturesque Lake District, England.
