One Direction attend press conference ahead of 'This Is Us' premiere

UK boyband One Direction will premiere their debut movie 'This Is Us' in London tomorrow (August 20) and they attended a press conference this morning about the film.

The director, Morgan Spurlock (pictured below with the lads), was also in attendance and together they discussed the honesty portrayed on screen and how they approached the project.

Member Harry Styles explained that it will give their Directioners a real insight into their lives because "there's only so much you can get across on social media, so this is a way to show how we are for our fans to see."

Heartthrob Zayn Malik also opened up about the part of the movie where he can be seen purchasing his overwhelmed mother a brand new house, adding: "It was amazing for me because I can look back and see when she first saw her house."

Niall Horan took to his official Twitter page this afternoon and told his followers that he can't wait to share the project with them: "Can't believe it's #TwoYearsOfWhatMakesYouBeautiful and this week we premiere our movie This Is Us thank you!"

'This Is Us' is due to hit UK theatres on August 29.
