Brian May says "great memories were made" at Queen and Adam Lambert warm-up show

Brian May took some "great memories" from Queen and Adam Lambert's warm-up show last night (June 16).

The band played at Los Angeles' iHeartRadio Theater ahead of their full North America tour, which opens on June 19.

It was streamed online and the gig went down well with fans.

It all seems to have made an impact on guitarist May too, who tweeted alongside a photo of the stage with raining confetti: "Great memories were made tonight. Happy grateful and bless'd. This is the image I will take away - thanks!"

The Brit added that the stage set-up wasn't the full rig they will use on tour, whilst he also said he felt "proud" after seeing Lambert perform Freddie Mercury's solo song 'Love Kills'.

Queen and Adam Lambert's first North American tour date meanwhile is due to be held in Chicago on June 19.
