Rita Ora on why she turned down 'The X Factor' role: 'I couldn't commit 100%'

Hitmaker Rita Ora has confirmed that she was offered a judging position on 'The X Factor', but her new album was her priority at the time so she had to say no to Simon Cowell.

During a new interview with British newspaper The Mirror, the 'I Will Never Let You Down' star explained that she had to turn the offer down because she wouldn't have been able to give the role all of her time and energy:

"I love the X Factor and I am a fan of it, they can always call me for anything, but to be 100 percent committed to something and to focus on the record was my main aim and I didn't want to say yes to a job if I wasn't going to do it properly."

"It is a great, great show, and it will be good this time round. So never say never. You don't have to pitch a lot, it is just a great show. I just knew if I was to do it, I will do it when I have the time properly."

'Call My Name' sensation Cheryl Cole has joined the TV talent show as a judge.
