Simon Cowell reckons every member of One Direction will ultimately go solo.

The boyband formed on the UK X Factor in 2010 and despite reaching global fame, they are constantly surrounded by split rumours.

Label boss Cowell told the Daily Star that he believes the group's shelf-life isn't infinite, saying:

"I think they will make at least two more albums together and they are in the middle of one right now."

Harry Styles is the favourite to go solo first, but Cowell added that he thinks every singer in the five-piece will eventually try their luck alone.

Speaking about the prospect of Styles going solo, he said: "No, I don't think that is going to happen for a while. Eventually I am sure they all will."
