Zayn Malik got bored of being a 'normal 22-year-old' after two weeksZayn Malik says his plan to revert to being a "normal 22-year-old" backfired after just two weeks. The singer quit boyband One Direction last year, stating his desire to life a more normal life. However, he has now launched a solo career, with his debut track 'Pillowtalk' landing today (January 29). Speaking to Capital FM in a new interview, Malik said that he got "bored" of trying to be normal following his time in One Direction. He said: "It worked out for about two weeks and I got bored of it. I don't think I could ever go back to being completely normal. I guess that’s something I accepted, that this is as normal as it gets for me. "I didn't really think through the process. I didn't really have a plan. I just did it. It's worked out alright, I'm doing ok." The song is the first track taken from the album 'Mind of Mine', which will land on March 25. Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
