Shazam says 'Ghost Town' will make Adam Lambert 'a worldwide star'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert is currently hot on the promotional trail for his new single 'Ghost Town' and the track has been incredibly well-received so far.

Online music identification service Shazam recently revealed that 'Ghost Town' has "leapt" into the Top 60 on the international Popular Songs' chart after just two weeks and a representative for Shazam added that this is likely to be the song that makes Lambert a "worldwide star".

The sensation will make an appearance on Alan Carr's 'Chatty Man' talk show in the UK on Friday, June 5 where he will "reveal all about his new material".

During an interview with VH1, Lambert opened up about the title of his upcoming new record and explained the concept behind it: "I mean, the adrenaline rush I'm always trying to recreate is the first time you're on stage for something. The first night you're on tour or your first time singing a song... a lot of firsts. The song, 'The Original High', is the second track on the album and it's all about that. Your first kiss, your first love, or the first time you felt amazing about yourself."
