Adam Lambert on new Brian May collaboration: 'It connects all of the dots'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert's new album 'The Original High' boasts a duet with Brian May on a track called 'Lucy' and he has opened up about their creative partnership in a new interview.

Speaking to Yahoo7 Music about working with May on the record, the superstar explained that it was an honour to have him agree to the collaboration and he was so excited when they got into the studio together:

"I’m really excited that he was able to be a part of it, I think it kind of connects the dots a little bit. I kind of knew in the back of my head that it would be cool to work together on my album and I played [the demo version] of it for him and I said, 'Would you want to play on this?'"

When asked what the best part of recording his new album was, Lambert replied defiantly: "I was so excited that I got a classic Brian May guitar solo on there!"
