Adam Lambert on new sound and style: 'It's not a reinvention, it's a reframing'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert has opened up about the exciting new direction he's going in both musically and personally, and revealed that he feels as though he has matured and grown in ways that have influenced his career.

Speaking to OutBoise magazine recently, the 'Ghost Town' sensation confessed that he doesn't see his new album and new sense of style as a reinvention as such, but prefers to look at it as a "re-framing":

"I consider it more like a "reframing". I feel like it's still me at the heart of it. It's still my voice, but a little more grown up, and I feel like the sonic frame around the vocals is something new."

When asked about his decision to 'tweak' his sound, Lambert added: "Because repeating myself would be sacrilege. I will not repeat myself. But I don't know - something new. I wanted to do something fresh, and I wanted to do something that sounded like my life, and this is the kind of music I listen to."
