Adele's comeback track 'Hello' stays put at top of UK singles chart

Adele is celebrating another week at the summit of the UK singles chart.

The singer released her comeback track 'Hello' on October 23 and it instantly shot to No.1 in the UK.

The Official Charts Company have confirmed today (November 6) that the song has topped the UK singles chart for a second week.

It has shifted 121,000 downloads in the last seven days, alongside 5.78m streams - giving it a full figure of over 179,000 units.

The song - the first tune lifted from Adele's upcoming third album '25' - set a one-week streaming record with over 7.32m plays last week.

At No.2 on the UK singles chart is Justin Bieber's 'Sorry', while Sam Smith's James Bond theme 'Writing's On The Wall' climbs one place to No.3.

Following Smith is The Weeknd's 'The Hills', with Drake's 'Hotline Bling' rounding off the top five.

The highest placed new entry this week is Ariana Grande's Focus at No.10, while Little Mix's 'Love Me Like You' rises nine places to No.19.
