Adele's second week for double chart triumph

She only scored her first ever UK number 1 single last week with her BRITs performance of 'Someone Like You', but Adele has managed to hold onto the top spot for a second consecutive week.

Adele is still sitting pretty at the top of the singles chart tonight, February 27, and amazingly managed a fifth consecutive week at number 1 in the albums chart with her second album, '21'. The Official Charts Company recently explained how Adele's chart-topping track had been "outselling its biggest rival by 70%" all week so it's no surprise that 'Someone Like You' is still at the top.

Rihanna's 'S&M' shot up 3 places to number 3, Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' is a non-mover at 4 and Chipmunk ft. Chris Brown's 'Champion' remains at 5. Alexis Jordan had the only new entry in today's top ten with her second single, 'Good Girl'.
