Adele confirms 'Skyfall' theme song rumours

Vocal superstar Adele has finally revealed that she has recorded the theme song to the upcoming new James Bond movie, 'Skyfall'.

Speculation has been growing over the past month about the 'Rolling In The Deep' sensation's involvement with the film's soundtrack and One Republic's frontman, Ryan Tedder, even tweeted that he had heard the cut, but Adele has now self-confirmed the exciting news.

She simply uploaded a photograph to her official Twitter page earlier this afternoon (October 1) that shows her sharply-manicured hand resting on top of a document entitled "From the motion picture Skyfall: 'Skyfall'". It also has arrangement credits with the names Paul Epworth and J.A.C. Redford both mentioned.

'Skyfall' is set to hit theatres on October 23 and although Adele's theme song hasn't yet premiered, Tedder recently described it as the "best Bond song in my lifetime. Hands down."
