Biffy Clyro were among the winners at this year's Kerrang! Awards.

The cream of the rock and metal world turned out in force last night (June 13) in London to celebrate the best in the business.

Scottish trio Biffy Clyro won the Best Album gong for their double-disc release 'Opposites', whilst Fall Out Boy bagged the Best Single award for the track 'The Phoenix'.

You Me At Six meanwhile picked up the Best Event prize for their Wembley Arena show in December last year.

Other acts honoured on the night included Slayer, who accepted the Legend award following the death of guitarist Jeff Hanneman earlier this year, and Black Veil Brides, who won the Best Live Band gong.

Brian May and Roger Taylor picked up the Service to Rock Award on behalf of Queen.
