Britney Spears debuts new song 'Perfume' on VEVO

Britney Spears has premiered her highly anticipated new track 'Perfume' on VEVO.

The song, which was co-written by Australian hitmaker Sia, features on the singer's upcoming eighth studio album 'Britney Jean'.

The track is the second offering from the record, following on from lead single 'Work Bitch'.

'Perfume' features lyrics such as: "Have you been thinking 'bout her or about me/And while I wait I put on my perfume, yeah I want it all over you/I gotta mark my territory".

It was originally debuted exclusively on the US star's Facebook page, but the tune has now been given a full public release.

As previously reported, Spears recently said that the song reflects an "insecure moment in a relationship" and should hit home with anyone listening. She said:

"‘Perfume’ is incredibly special to me because it hits close to home, and I think the story is relatable to everyone.”

The former X Factor USA judge continued: “Everyone's been through an insecure moment in a relationship that's left them vulnerable and I think this song captures that.”

'Britney Jean' meanwhile is set for a December 3 release, with the US star due to begin a two-year Las Vegas residency on December 27.
