David Bowie has "no plans to perform live"

David Bowie's rep has confirmed that he has no plans to make a live comeback at the moment.

The singer released the album 'The Next Day' in March after a number of years out of the spotlight.

Recent rumours suggested that promoters have been making multi-million pound offers for the notoriously reclusive Bowie to play live.

A massive show at London's Olympic Stadium next year had been mooted - but a rep told NME that there's nothing planned. They said:

"There are currently no plans for any live dates."

Glastonbury supremo Michael Eavis meanwhile recently suggested that Bowie might be up for headlining the festival in the future.
