Jessie J wants Adele or Emeli Sandé to replace her on The Voice

Jessie J has recommended the likes of Adele and Emeli Sandé to replace her on The Voice.

The singer left her coaching position on the BBC TV talent show recently to concentrate on her music career.

She was quickly followed by Danny O'Donoghue - meaning that just two coaches were left on the panel.

Speaking to Capital FM, Jessie J rattled off an impressive list of singers she thinks could fill her boots, with a mix of newer and older acts featuring. The 'It's My Party' star said:

"I'd love to see someone like Emeli Sandé, Adele, Lulu or Annie Lennox. Like Lulu is like a timeless voice for our country."

Jessie J added: "I just want someone credible and someone that can really sing because a lot of the audience don't see the amount of work that goes in. You genuinely are mental [when] you're a coach – you have to sing for 12 hours."
