Jessie J has released the lyric video for 'Hero'.

The new song features on the soundtrack for film Kick Ass 2, which is available to buy now.

The lyric video for the song runs with a striking superhero cartoon theme.

Jessie J's next full single meanwhile 'It's My Party' is due to be unleashed in the UK on September 15.

It's one of three tracks that have so far been unveiled from her forthcoming new album, which does not yet have a release date or name.

The other songs released are lead single 'Wild' and 'Excuse My Rude', which was debuted recently.
