Jessie J has revealed that an ankle injury in 2011 almost rendered her unable to walk.

The singer broke her ankle after falling during rehearsals a couple of years ago and she was left nursing a hefty injury.

Speaking to The Sun, the 'Alive' star admitted that the incident was so bad that she almost lost the function in her legs. She said:

"That accident almost cost me the ability to walk. I've had a bone transplant, a fusion, a metal plate and four bolts put into my foot. I have a physio who travels around with me a lot of the time and it still causes me pain every day."

Jessie J added: "I often have to have my foot popped back in as it pops off the bone. Plus it's pretty rare that I can wear high heels these days - mostly flats."
