Kings of Leon to headline Isle of Wight Festival

Kings of Leon have been confirmed as the final Isle of Wight Festival headliner.

The US act will top the bill on the Sunday night (June 15) as they follow up their last appearance at the event in 2011.

They join previously announced headliners Biffy Clyo and Red Hot Chili Peppers on the bill.

Promoter John Giddings commented: "Three words define this year's headliners - rock the Wight. The bill is truly eclectic, we have something for everyone, new and emerging talent mixed with established artists."

Other acts who have also been confirmed for the festival include Clean Bandit, John Newman, The Vamps, Dappy, Travis and The 1975.

Tickets are on sale now.
