Kings of Leon drummer failed to impress All Saints after shop mix-up

Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has revealed that he tried to impress two members of All Saints in the late 2000s - but he later found out they were actually staff from the shop of the same name.

The British girl group rose to fame in the 1990s and early 2000s and it seems they caught Followill's eye.

Speaking to Q magazine, the drummer revealed that he heard two members of All Saints would be checking out one of their UK festival performances in 2008 from the side of the stage.

He was "rocking out" in the hope of impressing them - but it eventually conspired that they were actually staff from All Saints the fashion retailer.

The sticksman said: "I was nervous for a completely different reason. There was a girl group back then called All Saints and I fancied two of them. Our manager said, 'A couple of girls from All Saints are going to be side of stage tonight'.

"I was so nervous: 'What if it's the two I liked?'...but it was actually girls from All Saints clothing shop! I was giving it all, rocking out thinking the girls from All Saints are watching, but it was actually the girls from the shop!"
