Kings of Leon crowd in measles scare

Attendees of a recent Kings of Leon concert in the US have suffered a health scare after it was revealed that a fan with the contagious virus was at the gig.

The American rockers performed in Seattle, Washington on March 28 but a woman who had received the virus two days earlier attended.

This prompted the Washington Health department to issue a statement to ask those who were at the Key Arena to confirm that they have been vaccinated against the virus.

Their statement added: "If you're not vaccinated, you can get the measles just by walking into a room where someone with the disease has been in the past couple of hours."

The woman in question also visited shops, cafes and a hotel.

Kings of Leon the band meanwhile are still set to continue their tour as normal.
