Lady Gaga has confirmed a batch of UK and Ireland dates due to take place later this year.

The US icon will bring her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour to Britain and Ireland for five dates in October as she promotes her latest album 'ARTPOP'.

The jaunt will kick off at Birmingham's NIA on October 15 before travelling to Dublin and Glasgow.

She will then play Manchester on October 21 before finishing up at London's O2 Arena on October 23.

The shows are part of a larger European tour, which opens in Belgium on September 23 and ends in Portugal on November 10.

Tickets for the UK dates meanwhile will go on sale from February 8 at 9am UK time. The full schedule is as follows:
