Lady Gaga celebrates one-year anniversary of 'ARTPOP'

Pop superstar Lady Gaga has marked the one-year anniversary of her album 'ARTPOP' with a series of tweets about the importance of artistry and creativity.

The record was released one year ago today (November 11) and she took to her official Twitter page to talk about the milestone:

"Happy Birthday 'ARTPOP'. Thank u 4 filling my life with a colourful world. Gazing balls, seashell girls, creative clowns. As the artRave ends we will celebrate ARTPOP. To be an artist all you need is a canvas & a paintbrush. Nothing else."

She also uploaded two collections of photographs to her Instagram account, which show the single artwork for the tracks released into the charts from the album (pictured below), and accompanied them with the following caption: "Series 1 titles handwritten by the artist. Series 2 is A series of three originally released as a Triptych for Venus."

Gaga, meanwhile, will finally bring her ARTPOP tour to a close on November 24 in Paris, France and back in October she told her fans that she will be emotional when this jaunt is over: "There are 16 artRaves left. I'll cry many tears @ the end. I've loved every moment of it, it's message, it's monsters."
