Lady Gaga arrived this evening (October 7) in an ornate carriage for the launch of her debut fragrance, 'Fame' in the UK.

Gaga was scheduled to arrive at the prestigious department store, Harrods, at 6pm (UK time) but arrived later to hundreds of fans.

Wearing an elegant black dress and her hair down, she stepped from her carriage to spend some time with her fans, and then entered the Knightsbridge store.

Once instore, Gaga posed for photographs in front of the 'Fame' display, and was sprayed with her own 'Fame' perfume by a Harrods employee.

One hundred Harrods competition winners were also in attendance, having entered the store's 'Win An Evening With Lady Gaga' competition for VIP launch party tickets last month (September). 

'Fame' is a black eau de parfum that turns clear once airborne. The description on the packaging refers to  ingredients including 'Tears of Belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea, with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.'
