Lady Gaga has ditched the clothes for a new video released in support of the Marina Abramovic Institute.

The singer has teamed up with the artist to promote her Institute, which is "dedicated to the presentation and preservation of long durational work, including that of performance art, dance, theatre, film, music, opera, and other forms that may develop in the future".

The new video, which has been issued to help fundraise for the Institute, sees the 'ARTPOP' singer try out the Abramovic "method".

Gaga is heard holding the same note for a prolonged period of time whilst lying on a floor. She is then pictured fully naked and blindfolded.

The method involves a "series of exercises designed to heighten participants' awareness of their physical and mental experience".

The Institute's Kickstarter campaign at the time of writing has raised $231,446 of its $600,000 goal.
