Ahead of the impending nuptials of rapper Kanye West and reality TV celebrity Kim Kardashian, the groom-to-be surprised his fiancée with an unannounced performance from Lana Del Rey.

Kim and Kanye were hosting a pre-wedding celebration at the Palace of Versailles yesterday (May 23) when the rap star revealed that the ‘West Coast’ singer would be making a secret appearance.

Lana Del Rey sang a trio of songs for the couple and their guests including her hit ‘Summertime Sadness’.

This is not the first time Kanye West has used Lana Del Rey’s music to mark a special occasion as he hired an orchestra to play her ‘Great Gatsby’ composition ‘Young And Beautiful’ when he proposed to Kim Kardashian.

Lana Del Rey is set to release her new album ‘Ultraviolence’ on June 16.
