Student says his head will "explode" as school plays Bieber's 'Baby' on repeat for charity

A school in the US has come up with a novel way of raising money for charity - playing Justin Bieber's 'Baby' on loop between classes.

Tenino High School in Washington is playing the track during breaks for the whole of this week in an effort to raise cash for a school in Ghana.

The plan, devised by student Connor Stakelin, hopes to raise $500. However, some members of the school haven't been having a good time of it.

Zack Chamberlain told King 5 News: "Oh my God, I think my head is going to explode."

Another pupil said: "Some of us are about to go deaf. I'm pretty sure I've already had five Ibuprofen today."

Stakelin, however, said: "For some of [the students], it’s incentive to donate because they don’t want to hear it anymore."

He added: "The school [in Ghana] is called Crossover International Academy. It helps kids that don’t have meals, they don’t even have a bed to lie on at night and in their school they don’t even have more than one piece of paper per day."
