John Legend: 'I've contacted Adele about wanting to collaborate with her'

Crooner John Legend has revealed that he would really love to collaborate with songstress Adele and has approached her for a potential duet, but is yet to hear anything back.

Speaking to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, he explained that he's a huge fan of the 'Someone Like You' hitmaker and would like to get her into the studio at some point in the future:

"I've put the message out to Adele that I think she'd be great to work with. I think that'll happen - it's just a matter of time."

Legend also recently spoke to Hello! magazine about Miley Cyrus and admitted that she's just trying to express herself, and that the public shouldn't be so quick to criticise her: "I think it's relatively harmless - she's not doing anything dangerous. She's just making decisions about how she wants to portray herself sexually and physically. It's working for her at the moment."
