L'Wren Scott's death confirmed as suicide

L'Wren Scott's death has officially been ruled as suicide.

The fashion designer, who had been in a long-term relationship with Mick Jagger, passed away on Monday (March 17) after being found hanging in her Manhattan apartment.

Police have now confirmed that the 49-year-old killed herself, with no foul play involved.

The Rolling Stones have since postponed a scheduled tour of Australia and New Zealand and Jagger's bandmates have now spoken out in support of their singer.

Ronnie Wood said: "This is such terrible news and right now the important thing is that we are all pulling together to offer Mick our support."

Charlie Watts added: "Needless to say we are all completely shocked but our first thought is to support Mick at this awful time. We intend to come back to Australia and New Zealand as soon as it proves possible."
