5 Seconds Of Summer on writing with One Direction: 'It'd be a spontaneous decision, but we'd love to'

Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer have revealed that although they have no plans to write music with One Direction, if the opportunity ever presents itself they would jump at it.

During a new interview with Fuse.TV, member Calum Hood was asked if they would ever consider writing with tour buddies One Direction and he explained that it would probably be a spur of the moment type thing if it ever happened, but that they would love to:

"Who knows, they're writing a lot more which is amazing. If anything, it'll probably be a spontaneous decision between us, but I'd love to."

They will join the 'Story Of My Life' heartthrobs later this year to support their Where We Are tour and Hood added that while they love to pull pranks, the One Direction superstars have pretty tight security so it might be harder to mess around backstage:

"I'm not sure! We're not like the biggest pranksters ever. They have very scary security guards so we try to keep our distance between them."

5 Seconds Of Summer also revealed that they recently had some male strippers sent to the house they were staying at in Los Angeles by fans: "It's been quite busy, but we had strippers sent to our house once when we were staying in LA. Male strippers, actually [...] They were in cop uniforms. Like, really tight ones."
