New acts added to Reading and Leeds Festival line-up

This year's Reading and Leeds Festival is fast approaching (August 22-24) and a new wave of bands and artists have now been added to the already impressive line-up.

New additions to the BBC Radio 1 Xtra Stage are Sinead Harnett, 'Voices' singer Sasha Keable (pictured left), Mirror Signal, Bad Rabbits, Star. One, and Tinashe. The Festival Republic stage, which will be headlined by Band of Skulls, will also see performances from the likes of Childhood, Sweethead, Dolomite Minor, The Bohicas, The Royal Concept, X Ambassadors, Flyte, and Twisted Wheel.

The NME/Radio 1 Stage also has a couple of new acts joining its bill, including The Wytches and Red Fang. This year's Reading and Leeds Festival will be headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, and Blink-182

Also playing live at the weekend-long event are Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Imagine Dragons, Die Antwoord, and Vampire Weekend. Tickets for Reading Festival have now completely sold out, but there are still passes available for Leeds.

American pop-punk heroes Blink-182 also recently announced two warm-up shows that will take place at London's Brixton Academy on August 6 and August 8.
