Jessie Ware has confirmed plans to tour the UK next year.

The singer, who released her new album 'Tough Love' on Monday (October 13), will play seven shows in the country in January.

The run, which is part of a wider European tour, will kick off in Belfast on January 20.

There will be dates in cities such as Edinburgh and Leeds before the UK jaunt ends with two gigs at O2 Academy Brixton in London on January 29 and 30.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale from 9am UK time on Friday (October 17). The UK tour is as follows:

• January 20 – Belfast, Mandela Hall
• January 23 - Edinburgh, Queens Hall
• January 24 - Leeds, O2 Academy 
• January 25 - Manchester, Academy
• January 27 - Bristol, Colston Hall 
• January 29 - London, O2 Academy Brixton 
• January 30 - London, O2 Academy Brixton
