AC/DC have rocketed to the top of the UK iTunes albums chart.

The group released their latest effort 'Rock or Bust' today (December 1) and it is enjoying a sizeable impact.

At the time of writing, the record is No.1 on the UK iTunes albums chart.

The album is the follow-up to AC/DC's 2008's chart-topping effort 'Black Ice'.

It is ahead of fellow new entry 'III' by Take That, which currently rests at No.4 behind two Now That's What I Call Music compilations.

McBusted's self-titled debut album is in at No.5 whilst Kiesza's new entry 'Sound of a Woman' follows at No.6.
