Nigella Lawson has confirmed that she will be reading out the UK's Eurovision Song Contest results.

The final of the contest will take place Vienna on Saturday (May 23).

TV chef Lawson had been rumoured to be the UK's results host on the night.

The Brit confirmed the news on Twitter by replying to a fan, saying:

"Yes, it's true. Oui, c'est vrai. Ja, das ist wahr."

Broadcaster BBC also said: "Nigella Lawson this is Vienna calling. Welcome to ‪Eurovision."

The UK meanwhile will be represented at Eurovision by Electro Velvet.
