Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch goes up for sale

Michael Jackson's famous Neverland ranch has gone on the market.

The Santa Barbara property, which features a railway and a floral clock, has a price tag of around $100m ($65m).

The late singer bought the 2,800 acre site in the late 1980s.

He erected unusual features - which are no longer part of the area - such as a zoo, an amusement park and a fire station.

Following Jackson's death in 2009, the property was renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch and it has been redeveloped.

Suzanne Perkins of Sotheby's International Realty said that those wishing to visit the property in view of purchasing it will need to pass strict vetting.

She warned fans: "We're not going to be giving tours."
