Union J: 'One Direction are due a break'

'Carry You' hitmakers Union J have revealed that they feel for One Direction because they've been working so hard for so long without significant time off.

The group's J.J. Hamblett explained to BANG Showbiz that the lads should take some well-deserved time off because they've been performing, recording and touring for around five years now, which must be exhausting both mentally and physically:

"They've been going for so long. What five years now? They've never had a day off. We've obviously been working and doing stuff on the road, but they go to every single country, every single day and it's exhausting for them. I think they are due a break."

He went onto add that he can't imagine the remaining 1D lads enjoyed their late teens in a 'normal' way because they've been famous throughout that entire period: "I suppose they haven't had so much of a childhood, from 17 some of them were in the band, well not a childhood but they were in their teens."
