BB King coroner denies poison claim

BB King's coroner has ruled out the possibility that he was poisoned.

The legendary blues musician died aged 89 in his home in Las Vegas in May.

Daughters Karen Williams and Patty King soon after claimed that he was killed by poison at the hands for two close aides.

They suggested that King was murdered by former manager LaVerne Toney and personal assistant Myron Johnson.

However, coroner John Fudenberg performed an autopsy and has now confirmed that no poison was present.

He told CNN: "We ruled it Alzheimer's disease as the cause of death with other significant contributing factors."
