Iron Maiden have revealed their first single in over five years.

The metallers are unleashing their latest album 'The Book of Souls' on September 4.

They are releasing the track 'Speed of Light' as the first cut from the record.

The video for the song has now been premiered online and it sees the group channel video games.

Iron Maiden meanwhile had finished recording 'The Book of Souls' last year.

However, they waited to release the album until singer Bruce Dickinson had recovered from throat cancer.
