These songs surge by 50% in popularity each Valentine's Day

Billboard magazine has revealed data collected by video hosting site YouTube about the songs that experience the biggest boost every year on Valentine's Day.

According to YouTube, there are 18 songs that experience a 50% increase in views specifically on February 14 and to obtain these statistics, the site looked at songs that get "at least 20,000 views a day outside of Valentine's Day" and have experienced a global Valentine's Day spike from 2012 to 2015.

Over the four years, 18 tracks enjoyed an increase of at least 50% "compared to that song's average daily views across January, March, April and May each year, looking at the same weekday per year."

The list of songs includes Bryan Adams with 'Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?', Sir Elton John with 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight?', and Adam Sandler's 'Grow Old With You' which was on the soundtrack to 'The Wedding Singer' movie.
