Frank Ocean has raised fans' hopes of an imminent album release by unveiling a new livestream video.

The musician has been working on the follow-up to his 2012 debut 'Channel Orange' for months, with the record first expected for release last year.

A new livestream called Boys Don't Cry has now been unveiled by Ocean, with an accompanying image suggesting the record could land soon.

The Apple Music approved video sees two desks placed in an empty studio setting.

In a now deleted Instagram post, visual artist Francis Soriano confirmed that he had been working on the website for a "video art project".
