Eric Clapton is making an personal move to raise money for charity by auctioning off a number of his own guitars.

Clapton will put a massive 70 guitars up for auction in a commendable attempt to raise funds for Antigua drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, Crossroads.

The auction will take place in 2011 on February 9 at Bonhams in London, and items included in the sale will be Marshall speaker cabinets and a black Fender ‘Eric Clapton signature’ guitar.
