"No future" for The Libertines

Carl Barat revealed there is "no future" for The Libertines in their brand new interview with the NME that hits news stands today, May 11.

Cracks in the band's togetherness were first noticed when Pete Doherty failed to attend the premiere of their documentary in April, and now Barat has spoken out about the situation calling it "hard". Addressing the rift between himself and Doherty, he explained:

"We are all in very different places,"

"Right now is not the time for The Libertines. I thought the water under the bridge was under the bridge, but maybe it's not. It's a very fucking hard thing. Every time we talk it just brings it back up."

He added, honestly:

"I don't believe we're healed from the hurt. If our herts heal up then we can break them all over again. But right now… it's hard."
