After her disastrous concert in Serbia wherein singer Amy Winehouse mumbled lyrics, stumbled off stage and dropped her microphone, the decision has been taken to cancel the rest of her European Tour.

The statement from Winehouse’s representative read:  “Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances.”

All 12 concerts have been scrapped.

The representative went on to say:  “She would like to apologise to fans expecting to see her at the shows but feels that this is the right thing to do.  Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen.”

Amy spent a week at the Priory clinic in London prior to her Serbian concert.
