Michael Jackson's family: "justice has finally been served"

The sisters of the late Michael Jackson have exclaimed that "victory was served" yesterday after Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

The King of Pop's physician was found guilty of the charge last night, November 7, and La Toya Jackson confirmed that she was the person who shouted "yes" as the verdict was announced in court. She told the press that "victory was served".

Rebbie, Michael's other sister, added: "I'm just happy it's over with. Nothing will bring him back, but I'm just happy he (Murray) was found guilty."

An official statement was released from Michael's parents, Katherine and Joe, that expressed their joy at the justice served and it read:

"We have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and we couldn’t hold back tears of joy in the courtroom. Even though nothing can bring back our son, justice has finally been served! We can’t wait to go home and share this day with Michael’s children."
