UK's 2012 Eurovision song unveiled

The UK's entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest has been unveiled.

The BBC have released the video for Engelbert Humperdinck's 'Love Will Set You Free', which will seek to win the competition for the UK for the first time since 1997.

The simple clip sees Humperdinck crooning away in buoyant fashion, showcasing his fine set of pipes.

He was a surprise pick for the 2012 Eurovision, with large portions of the public giving the selection a quizzical response.

However, Humperdinck stated that he is out to win it and that he is "thrilled" to have been chosen. The singer, who is the oldest ever entrant in the competition, said that was "ready for the challenge".
