Tulisa on her female competition: "There's enough room in this industry for all of us to be successful"

N-Dubz beauty turned solo star Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed she doesn't see other female singers as competition and instead believes they should support each other in what is a very difficult industry.

She scored her first No.1 single last night (May 6) as a solo artist with her debut single 'Young' and explained to Capital FM that other hitmakers don't pose a threat because everyone deserves a shot at success:

"I can't stand it when people sit there going 'this is my competition' or 'this is who I need to knock off'. You know, you do you innit. Put yourself in your own category."

"Don't worry about what other people are doing. There's enough room in this industry for all of us to be successful."
