Gaga sued by Bratz doll toy manufacturer over dolls

Lady Gaga is being sued by the Bratz doll toy manufacturer over alleged breach of contract.

The New York Daily News reports that MGA Entertainment is suing the singer, her management and her licensing companies, for $10m (£6.5m) over dolls due to be made of the singer.

It is said that the toy making company wanted to release the dolls in time for Christmas, but they claim Lady Gaga's team "engaged in intentional and deliberate delays" in order to release the doll in 2013.

Gaga's spokesperson Amanda Silverman said that the lawsuit was "ill-conceived". They said:

"Lady Gaga will vigorously defend MGA's ill-conceived lawsuit and is confident that she will prevail. There was no legitimate reason for dragging Lady Gaga into that dispute."
