Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi: 'My mother is smiling and watching down over me'

Bobbi Kristina Brown has admitted that she's coping with the death of her superstar mother, Whitney Houston, as well as she can and she believes she is looking down on her from heaven.

The 19-year-old actress, who recently confirmed that she is engaged to her 'adopted' brother Nick Gordon, told Access Hollywood at the New York City premiere for upcoming reality show, 'The Houstons: On Our Own', that she gains strength from recognising that her mother's presence is still around:

"What gives me the strength is my family and knowing that she is watching down on us. Watching down and applauding and being happy and smiling and rejoicing, as well as we are, of her life and her legacy. She was an angel."

"She was an amazing, amazing person. Whoever met her, was attached to her from the beginning, the start ... at the very first sight, you're just attached to her. She was an angel on Earth."

She added: "I'm doing okay, I'm doing pretty good. I am doing better than I ever thought I would. Definitely better than I thought I would."
