Country sensation Carrie Underwood has admitted that she's not friends with singer Taylor Swift, despite being in the same scene.

During an interview with Allure magazine, the blonde beauty explained that they've never spent much time together so don't know each other well at all:

"I'm not close to her. We run into each other at events. We're never in the same place at the same time."

She also addressed the portrayal of Nashville in the entertainment industry and explained that it's not realistic at all, referencing the new TV series 'Nashville' and Gwyneth Paltrow's movie, 'Country Strong':

"'Nashville' is all about females; 'Country Strong' is all about females. It's like there's a hundred spots for men to be able to take, but when it comes to women - and I don't mean to say this in a bragging way at all - but unfortunately I'm the only female this year who spent three weeks at number one on the country charts. Three weeks."
